Production

To us, production means much more than just hitting the record button. It's true that sometimes the production of music or audio may be as simple as putting a mic in front of the performer and ta-daaaa.

But often more is required. You need to:
  1. Find a place to record
  2. Find gear to record
  3. Have someone who knows how to record
  4. Find the right players
  5. Rehearse players
  6. Find, arrange or write the appropriate music
  7. Mix the music once it is recorded

On top of all this, you might not know how much money this will cost, or where to start or what to expect. This is when the producer kicks in. We'll answer your questions, give you quotes and move things around to accommodate your budget.

Audio Authorities can cover most of the bases in professional audio production in-house, which allows us to keep our rates low. Recording, overdubbing, top notch midi sequencing, mixing, music notation, arranging and creating a great final product is our job.
